Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur has released the Assistant Staff Nurse recruitment notification for direct engagement under the Director, Medical Education & Research, HP. The recruitment is for eligible female candidates and is conducted through an Online Recruitment Application (ORA) on the official HPRCA portal. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess either B.Sc. Nursing with 50% marks or GNM (A Grade Nursing Diploma) with 50% marks. The qualification must be from a recognized University/Institution.

Age Limit

Age limit is 21 to 45 years as on 01.01.2026. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), as well as Persons with Disabilities who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh, and employees of the Himachal Pradesh Government and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh. The relaxation is applicable as permissible under the general or special orders of the Department of Personnel, Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Application Fee

Payment must be made online through the payment gateway using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. No other mode of payment is accepted.

How to Apply

1. Visit the HPRCA portal at https://hprca.hp.gov.in and click on the Sign Up option to create your username and password.
2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) by entering personal details, educational qualifications, and work experience (if any). Upload a recent photograph and signature, and provide the required supporting documents.
3. After OTR, ensure your profile is completed. Only candidates with a completed profile can proceed to apply for posts.
4. Go to the post list on the portal, select the Assistant Staff Nurse post, and click Apply under the relevant category.
5. Select your preferred exam district(s) from the dropdown menu, subject to availability of choice centre.
6. Review the auto-filled application form generated from your profile and confirm that all details are correct.
7. Pay the application fee of 800 online using the available payment gateway options.
8. Submit the application and keep the confirmation for future reference. After successful payment, the application is treated as complete.

Selection Process
