Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed their Degree/Diploma/ITI in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. A passing certificate must be available as on the date of application, as per BOAT guidelines. Candidates with “Appearing” or “Result Awaited” status, or those with pending back papers/supplementary results, are not eligible.

For Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate apprentices, candidates are required to register on NATS 2.0 and obtain a valid registration number before applying. For ITI Trade apprentices, candidates must register on NAPS and obtain a registration number that starts with A0XXXXX.

Candidates who passed their ITI trade through a private ITI are eligible only if the trade is recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Also, candidates currently pursuing a regular engineering degree after completing a diploma cannot apply for diploma apprenticeship based on their diploma qualification alone.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit. For ITI candidates, the merit list is prepared with 70% weightage to SSC marks and 30% weightage to ITI marks, considering all semesters. For Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical candidates, merit is based on the passing marks list/certificate. CGPA/SGPA scores must be converted to percentage as per university norms; if the conversion formula is not printed, it must be certified by the Principal on letterhead. Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical document verification, and they must be able to produce required original documents at the time of verification/joining. Shortlisted candidates are also required to submit a medical fitness certificate from a certified MBBS practitioner and a Police Verification Report at the time of joining.
