Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a walk-in-interview recruitment for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) positions. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications: (1) a Post Graduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Physics/Electronics with First Division and NET qualification; or (2) a Graduate degree (B.E./B.Tech in Engineering Physics/Electronics) with 1st Division and NET/GATE qualification; or (3) a Post Graduate degree (M.E./M.Tech) with 1st Division at both Graduate and Post Graduate level.
Research Associate (RA): Candidates must have either (1) a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Physics/Electronics; or (2) an M.E./M.Tech with 3 years of research experience in Semiconductor Materials, Devices Fabrication and Characterization, along with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
Age Limit
JRF: Upper age limit is 28 years.
RA: Upper age limit is 35 years.
