Bank of Baroda LBO Admit Card 2026

Bank of Baroda has made the call letter available for candidates appearing in its Local Bank Officer (LBO) online examination. Applicants for the JMG/Scale-I posts under Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/16 should download and print their call letter before going to the examination centre.

The online examination is scheduled for 3 October 2026, and the call-letter download window runs from 25 September through 3 October 2026. The recruitment covers 2,482 vacancies across 20 States/UTs; candidates can apply for only one state, with merit lists prepared state-wise and category-wise. The call letter is available online, and the recruitment selection process comprises an online test followed by a group discussion and/or personal interview.

Vacancy Details

Bank of Baroda is recruiting for 2,482 Local Bank Officer vacancies at JMG/Scale-I. The vacancies are distributed across 20 States/UTs. The notification information provided here does not give a post-wise or category-wise vacancy breakup. Candidates may apply for only one state, and the merit list will be drawn separately by state and category.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official Bank of Baroda website at bankofbaroda.bank.in, or open the direct call-letter login link provided below.
2. On the Bank of Baroda website, select “Career” and then “Current Opportunities.”
3. Open the recruitment entry for “Recruitment of Local Bank Officer – Call Letter for Online Examination.”
4. Enter your Registration Number or Roll Number and your Password or Date of Birth. If using your date of birth, enter it in DD-MM-YY format.
5. Enter the displayed captcha and select the login option.
6. Review the call letter, download it and print a copy. Paste a recent passport-size photograph on it—the same photograph used during registration.
7. Take the printed call letter and the required identity documents to the examination venue.

The call letter can also be accessed through the direct download portal. The link is scheduled to be deactivated after 3 October 2026. Download instructions are also sent to registered email addresses, but the call letter itself must be printed for the exam; it is not sent by post.

If the login page does not open

Check your internet connection and try again after a short wait or during a less busy period. Re-enter your registration or roll number and password carefully, and ensure the date of birth follows the DD-MM-YY format. Use the “Forgot Password” option if you cannot recall your password, and check your registered email for login information. JavaScript must be enabled. The listed supported browser versions are Chrome 30 or later, Firefox 20 or later, Safari 6 or later, and Internet Explorer 9 or later.

Check the call-letter details

Before the exam, verify that your name, registration number, roll number, date of birth, category, post and state applied for are correct. Also check the exam date, reporting and shift times, venue name and address, photograph space and instructions. Contact the Bank promptly if you find a discrepancy, and make sure your name matches the name on your photo identity document.

Documents to carry

Carry the printed call letter with the required recent photograph pasted on it, a photocopy of an accepted photo identity document stapled to the call letter, and the original of the same currently valid identity document. Aadhaar is required for biometric authentication. PwD candidates who require a scribe should also carry the applicable scribe declaration form and medical certificate, as specified in the call letter and information handout.

Accepted identity documents are PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, a bank passbook with photograph, a photo ID issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead, a valid recent identity card from a recognised college or university, Aadhaar Card or E-Aadhaar Card with photograph, and Employee ID. Ration Cards and Learner’s Driving Licences are not accepted.

Exam-centre and conduct instructions

The reporting time, shift and venue address are printed on each candidate’s call letter. Arrive at the time stated; latecomers will not be admitted. Candidates may check the venue location a day before the exam. Bring a ball-point pen. Rough sheets will be supplied at the centre and must be returned before leaving, with the candidate’s registration number, roll number, name and exam date written on them.

Follow the directions of the Test Administrator and Bank Representative; failure to comply may result in disqualification. Candidates should not change their appearance from the photograph submitted during registration because the live image will be matched against it. An IRIS scan of the left eye will be taken before the examination and checked at the end; remove contact lenses and spectacles for the scan, and spectacles are recommended over contact lenses. For VI candidates, the right thumb impression will be captured. Keep fingers clean, dry and free from ink or mehndi. Do not press a keyboard key after the examination begins, as doing so will lock the exam. No travelling allowance is payable for attending the examination. Candidates should also take note of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.

Items not allowed in the examination hall

Do not bring mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, watches or wristwatches, calculators, log tables, scales, writing pads, pen drives, electronic pens, scanners, printed or written textual material, loose paper, geometry or pencil boxes, plastic pouches, goggles, handbags, hair-pins, hair-bands, belts, caps, cameras or other metallic items into the examination hall. Eatable items, whether open or packed, are also prohibited. Only a transparent water bottle is permitted. Candidates are advised not to wear ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pins, chains, pendants, badges or brooches.

Selection Process

The stated selection process consists of an online test followed by a group discussion and/or personal interview. The computer-based online test is scheduled for 3 October 2026 and lasts two hours, with four separately timed sections. It contains 120 objective multiple-choice questions for a total of 120 marks:

A penalty of 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question applies for an incorrect answer; unanswered questions do not attract a penalty. The English Language section is qualifying only, and its marks are not counted in the final merit list. The Bank will decide minimum qualifying marks at its discretion. Eligible PwD candidates receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour.
