UPSSSC Computer Operator & Assistant Computer Operator Recruitment 2026

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released a recruitment notification for the Mains Examination for the “Mahadhivakta Karyalaya (Computer Cadre) Mains Examination (PET-2025)/20”. The recruitment is for 12 vacancies of Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator under the Advocate General’s Office (Mahadhivakta Karyalaya), Allahabad High Court, Uttar Pradesh.

This drive is meant for candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025) and hold a valid PET-2025 score card issued by the Commission, along with the essential educational qualification prescribed for the post. Eligible candidates can apply online during the notified application window.

The official advertisement (Advertisement No. 20-Pareeksha/2026) was published on 2026-09-03, and online registration/fee deposit started on 2026-09-07. The last date to submit the online application and fee is 2026-09-28, with a separate facility for fee adjustment and application correction available until 2026-10-05. Applications must be submitted only through the online mode on the UPSSSC website. At the application stage, candidates pay only the online processing fee. The notification also clarifies that dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Persons with Disabilities, and Excellent Sportspersons will pay fees as per their original category (categories 1 to 4 shown in the fee table). A separate Mains Examination fee is charged only from shortlisted candidates, before downloading the Mains Examination admit card.

How to Apply

1. Go to the official website upsssc.gov.in and open the relevant advertisement under the “Live Advertisement” section on the homepage.
2. Log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number/email.
3. Check the details shown on the form (such as name, parentage, category, EWS/horizontal reservation, date of birth, etc.), which are carried forward from your PET-2025 application.
4. Select the post(s) you want to apply for and enter the qualification details required (including Board/University name, year of passing, certificate/roll number, and marks obtained).
5. Verify the photo and signature (auto-populated from PET-2025), enter the verification code, and submit the application. After submission, a Registration Number will be generated.
6. Pay the prescribed online processing fee of ₹25 using Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/UPI or via SBI e-Challan, as applicable.
7. After successful payment adjustment, the application is auto-submitted. Download and print the final application form for future reference.

Selection Process

Selection for the Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator posts will be conducted in multiple stages. First, candidates are shortlisted for the Mains Examination based on the normalized score obtained in PET-2025. Candidates with zero or negative marks (absolute or normalized) in PET-2025 are not shortlisted. Next, shortlisted candidates pay the Mains Examination fee before downloading the admit card. Candidates then indicate their preference of posts during document verification, and the Commission attempts to allot posts based on preference, availability, merit, and educational qualification, with the Commission’s decision treated as final. Finally, document verification is carried out by requiring submission of original documents/certificates supporting the details provided in the online application.

Candidates who meet the PET-2025 and educational eligibility requirements should complete their online application and fee payment on or before 2026-09-28 to be considered for the Mains Examination process.
