Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification as per the trade/discipline applied for. For the Chemical trade, candidates must have one of the following: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the major subjects. For the Mechanical trade, candidates must have either B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
In addition to the above, candidates must meet the apprenticeship requirement. The notification specifies that the candidate should be an ex-graduate apprentice who has undergone a minimum of one year of training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 in Chemical/Mechanical trade of Ordnance Factories under MIL or in factories manufacturing Military Ammunitions and Explosives.
The qualification must be obtained from a recognized University or Institute in India approved by UGC or from AICTE-approved institutions.
Age Limit
