MECL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026

Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL) has released a recruitment notification for non-executive positions under Advt. No. 03/Rectt./2026. The recruitment is for 122 vacancies across multiple categories, and the online application window is open for eligible candidates. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

MECL has specified post-wise essential qualifications for the non-executive positions. For Accountant, candidates must have a Graduate qualification along with Intermediate pass of CA/ICWA, and also possess 3 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts. For Technician (Survey), the essential requirement is ITI in Survey or a Diploma in Survey. For Technician (Sampling), candidates must have a B.Sc. degree along with experience in Drill Core/Mine Sampling. For Technician (Laboratory), a B.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Geology is required.

For Assistant (Materials), candidates must be graduates with Mathematics or B.Com. For Assistant (Accounts), a B.Com is required. For Stenographer (English), candidates must have a Graduate degree in any stream and a Certificate in Shorthand with 80 wpm in English. For Assistant (Hindi), candidates must have Hindi and English as subjects in graduation, or alternatively a Degree in English with Advance Hindi.

For Electrician, candidates must have ITI/Diploma (Electrical), a valid Wireman Certificate, and 1 year of relevant experience. For Machinist, the requirement is ITI in Turner/Machinist/Grinder/Miller or a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Tool & Die. For Technician (Drilling), candidates must have ITI in Mechanic (EMM)/Diesel/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or a Diploma in Drilling/Mechanical Engineering, along with a valid HMV license.

For Mechanic, the essential qualification is ITI in Diesel/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or a Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering, along with a valid HMV license. For Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling), candidates must have ITI in Mechanic (EMM)/Diesel/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or a Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Drilling Engineering. For Junior Driver, candidates must have passed 10th class and hold valid LMV and HMV licenses. For Assistant (IT), the requirement is a degree in BCA/BCS/BCCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or graduation with a 1-year PG Diploma in IT. For Assistant (HR), candidates must have BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BBM/BSW.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years as on the cut-off date of 2026-09-01. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines, including 5 years for SC and 5 years for ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and PwD relaxation of 10/13/15 years depending on category. Age relaxation is also applicable for Ex-Servicemen as per the applicable Government of India rules.

2. Under Advertisement Notices & Results, select the recruitment portal link for Advt. No. 03/Rectt./2026.
3. Complete online registration during the portal window (from 2026-09-12 to 2026-10-11) using a valid email ID and mobile number.
4. Keep scanned copies of your photograph and signature ready in JPG/JPEG format before filling the application.
5. Fill in the required details carefully, including personal information, educational qualification, category details, and experience (where applicable).
6. Upload the required documents in the prescribed PDF format and size, such as Aadhaar, certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, and category certificates.
7. Pay the application fee online through the payment gateway if applicable for your category.
8. Submit the application form and take a printout of the system-generated confirmation for future reference. The notification indicates that only one application per candidate for one post is allowed.

Selection Process

MECL will select candidates through a multi-stage process. First, applications will be screened and marked as Eligible or Not Eligible based on the information provided in the online application. Next, a written competitive examination will be conducted at Nagpur by an independent external agency. The written test is described as having 100% weightage, with cut-off marks of 50% for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS, 45% for SC/ST, and relaxed standards for PwD as per Government of India guidelines. Candidates who clear the written test will be called for document verification ordinarily in the ratio of 1:7 in order of merit. Finally, a skill test/trade test will be conducted, which is qualifying in nature; candidates will be categorized as Suitable or Not Suitable, and the final merit list will be prepared based on written test marks.
