AIIMS Kalyani MTS Recruitment 2026

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Kalyani, has announced one Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancy under Advertisement No. PMCC/EM/2026/DHR/01/634, dated 6 November 2026. The post is for a DHR-funded research project at AIIMS Kalyani, and candidates who meet the education, experience and age requirements may apply by email.

The recruitment is for one contract position on the project titled “Formulating a lipidomic based diagnostic score for clinical subtyping of non-small cell lung cancer: discriminating adenocarcinoma from squamous cell carcinoma.” Applications are accepted by email, and the submission deadline is 15 days after the advertisement notice is published on the institute webpage; the notice does not specify a fixed calendar deadline. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed Class 10 (Madhyamik or an equivalent board examination) and hold a diploma in MLT, DMLT, ITI or an equivalent qualification. At least two years of experience coordinating projects funded by the Government of India is also required. Candidates should be skilled in preparing project accounting documents, preparing tenders and handling procurement through CPP, GeM and LPC in accordance with government norms. Experience processing bills and maintaining stock registers is essential.

Age Limit

The maximum age is 30 years, assessed on the last date of the application process. The notification does not specify any age relaxation.

The selected staff member will collect, process and transport samples from AIIMS Kalyani to IIT Kharagpur, maintain project records and files, and carry out other project-related work or duties assigned to support successful project completion. Nadia district residents with more than one year of residence, Bengali-language proficiency and relevant experience in a similar field are encouraged to apply; these are stated as preferences, not as mandatory eligibility conditions.

Applicants called for interview must bring two photocopies of their application and supporting documents, along with the original documents for verification. The interview will be held in person.

Salary & Pay Scale

The consolidated salary is INR 18,000 per month, with a 5% increment after two years of service. The appointment is contractual for a maximum of 36 months or until the project is completed, whichever happens first. The contract may end earlier if funding support is withdrawn. Either side may terminate the appointment by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu of notice. The appointment does not create a right to regular employment or permanent absorption at AIIMS Kalyani or ICMR. Leave is governed by the ICMR leave policy, as amended from time to time. The institute will not provide hostel or other accommodation, and no allowance or facility apart from the consolidated salary is admissible.

Selection Process

AIIMS Kalyani will shortlist eligible applicants and publish the shortlisted candidates list on its website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an offline interview; the interview date and venue will also be announced on the website. No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid for attending. Canvassing will lead to disqualification, and the Selection Committee’s decision will be final; representations against its decision will not be entertained.
