UTET Admit Card 2026: Download for 29 September Exam

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Ramnagar (Nainital), has made the UTET 2026 admit card available for candidates appearing in Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test Paper I and Paper II. Applicants who registered for the examination can retrieve their hall ticket online; the test is intended for candidates seeking eligibility to teach at the primary or upper-primary level.

The examination will take place across centres in Uttarakhand on 29 September 2026. Applications were submitted online from 14 July to 3 August 2026, with a separate fee-payment deadline and an application correction period in August. Candidates need their registration number, password and captcha to log in, and the test will use an offline, OMR-based multiple-choice format.

How to Apply

The application period has closed. Candidates who registered successfully can use the official portal to download and print their admit card. Keep your registration number and password ready; the page also requires a captcha code.

1. Open the official UTET website at www.ukutet.com, or go directly to the admit card download page.
2. Select “Applicant Login (अभ्यर्थी लॉगिन)” on the portal.
3. Enter your registration number and password, then fill in the captcha shown on the screen.
4. Choose “Login (लॉगिन करें)” to view the hall ticket.
5. Check the printed details, download the admit card and take a clear printout to the examination centre.

If you cannot recall your registration details, the portal provides a link labelled “Click here to download Admit Card through Name and”. For password recovery, use the “Forgot Password? (पासवर्ड भूल गए?)” option. If the page does not load, check your internet connection and login information, wait and try again during a less busy period, use another supported browser, and check the official site for technical announcements.

Selection Process

UTET is an eligibility examination, not a vacancy-based recruitment process. The 2026 test is scheduled in offline, OMR-based mode and consists of objective multiple-choice questions. Candidates should confirm their paper, centre and reporting time on their own admit card and follow the official examination instructions. The source states that there is no negative marking and that the UTET certificate is valid for a lifetime.

Paper schedule

Arrive at the centre before the reporting time printed on the admit card. Check the centre address in advance and retain the admit card securely. Candidates must follow the directions given by examination staff and the instructions printed on their call letter.

Exam pattern

Each paper has 150 questions for 150 marks. UTET-I covers Child Development and Pedagogy, Hindi as Language I, English as Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, with 30 questions and marks for each subject.

UTET-II includes 30 questions each in Child Development and Pedagogy, Hindi and English. The remaining 60 questions are from Mathematics and Science for candidates in that teaching stream, or Social Studies for Social Studies teachers.

The stated qualifying requirement is 90 marks out of 150 (60%) for General-category candidates and 75 marks out of 150 (50%) for candidates in the OBC, SC, ST and PwD categories. Consult the official notification for the complete syllabus and detailed examination rules.

Admit card checks and documents

After downloading the hall ticket, verify your name, roll number, registration number, date of birth, category, paper, exam date and time, centre name and address, photograph, signature and printed instructions. Contact the UTET authorities promptly if you find an error. Carry a printed admit card and an original, valid photo identity document. The call letter may also require an additional document or a passport-size photograph. Examples of commonly accepted photo IDs listed in the notification information are Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence and Passport; follow the specific instructions on your admit card.

Items identified as prohibited include mobile phones, smartwatches and wristwatches, calculators, Bluetooth equipment, earphones, microphones, scanners, electronic pens, communication devices, books, notes, printed papers, study material, pen drives, storage devices, bags, wallets, handbags, unauthorised stationery, food, beverages and other electronic gadgets that could be used for unfair means. Check the call letter for the final list and any permitted items.

Eligible registered candidates should download and check their admit card before travelling to the centre, and appear at the venue on 29 September 2026 with the documents and materials specified in their call letter.
