UCO Bank Specialist Officer (MMGS-II) Manager Recruitment 2026

UCO Bank has released the UCO Bank Recruitment 2026 notification for Specialist Officer roles in the Specialist Cadre. The hiring is for Manager-AI/ML Engineer and Manager-Cyber Security posts in MMGS-II on a regular basis. Eligible candidates should apply online via the bank’s official careers portal within the notified dates.

This recruitment drive offers 20 vacancies in total, split equally between the two Specialist Officer positions. Online registration and fee payment are open from 29th Aug 2026 to 18th Sep 2026. Applications must be submitted online only, and candidates will be shortlisted and selected through an Online Written Examination and/or Screening and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview, or any other process decided by the bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Manager-AI/ML Engineer post must have a full-time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/AI & ML/Data Science with at least 50% marks, or an MCA, or a full-time M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science/IT/AI & ML/Data Science with at least 50% marks. Certification in AI, Gen AI, NLP, or ML is preferred.

Candidates applying for the Manager-Cyber Security post must have a full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT/Electronics/ECE or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks, or an MCA, or a full-time M.Tech/M.Sc. in the above disciplines with at least 50% marks. An advanced degree in Cyber Security or IT is preferred.

Age Limit

For both posts, the age limit is 25 to 35 years as on 01.08.2026.

The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government guidelines. The notification specifies the following relaxations: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years relaxation, PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation, Ex-Servicemen (as defined) get 5 years relaxation, and candidates affected by the 1984 riots get 5 years relaxation.

Application Fee

Transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate. The fee is non-refundable and will not be held in reserve for any other examination or selection process.

How to Apply

1. Visit https://uco.bank.in and click on Career.
2. Go to Recruitment Opportunities and select Advertisement No. HO/HRM/RECR/2026-27/COM-01.
3. Click Click Here to Apply Online.
4. Choose Click Here for New Registration and complete registration to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
5. Log in using the generated credentials and select the position you wish to apply for (you can apply for only one position).
6. Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and required documents as per the specifications mentioned in Annexure-I.
7. Fill the application form carefully and use the Save and Next option to verify details before final submission. After clicking Final Submit, no changes are allowed.
8. Pay the application fee/intimation charges online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
9. Download and print the system-generated application form for your records. Do not send the printed copy to the bank.

The notification also states that candidates should not submit more than one application. If multiple applications are submitted, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained, and the fees paid for other registrations will be forfeited.

Salary & Pay Scale

In addition to the basic pay scale, selected candidates will receive DA, HRA/Lease Accommodation, CCA, medical benefits, and other admissible allowances as per bank rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through an Online Written Examination and/or Screening and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview, or any other selection process decided by UCO Bank.

• The Screening Committee will check whether candidates meet the required eligibility criteria. Shortlisting at this stage is provisional and does not include document verification.
• Only candidates considered most suitable by the bank will be called for the selection process. Meeting eligibility requirements alone does not guarantee a call.
• Qualifying marks for the written examination/interview/selection process will be decided by the bank.
• A merit list will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in the Online Written Examination and/or Group Discussion and/or Interview. If there is a tie at the cut-off point, candidates will be ranked by age in descending order (older candidates ranked higher).
• If a written examination is conducted, its structure will be communicated on the bank’s website.

Candidates who do not satisfy eligibility criteria at the time of interview or who cannot produce relevant documents will not be allowed to appear for the interview or will be declared ineligible.

Eligible candidates should complete their online registration and fee payment by 18th Sep 2026 to avoid last-minute issues.
