Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Degree awarded by a recognized university in India (established or incorporated by a Central Act, Provincial Act, or State Act), or an institution recognized by the UGC, or an equivalent qualification. The qualification must be valid as on the date of the notification, i.e., 29 July 2026.
For Post Code 17 (Station Fire Officer), candidates must additionally possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence as on the date of the notification.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age must be between 21 and 25 years as on 1 July 2026 (i.e., the candidate must have attained 21 years and must not have attained 25 years). In addition, the Government of Telangana has raised the upper age limit for uniformed services (Police, Fire Services, Prisons, and Special Protection Force Departments) by 5 years, subject to applicable rules.
Age relaxation is also provided as follows:

During the period of institutional training (for Post Codes 11 to 14 and 16), selected candidates will receive a stipend as fixed by the Government. After successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed to the regular post with the applicable pay scale mentioned above.
Selection Process
Selection for TSLPRB SI Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in the following stages: Preliminary Written Test (PWT), followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET), then Final Written Examination (FWE), and finally Certificate Verification.
