Telangana High Court CBT Exam Dates 2026 for Office Subordinate & Other Posts

The Telangana High Court has released the exam dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the 2026 recruitment cycle. The CBT is scheduled to be conducted across multiple exam centers in Telangana in two shifts. Candidates who have applied (or plan to apply within the deadline) for the eligible posts such as Office Subordinate and Process Server should prepare for the CBT on the announced dates.

This recruitment drive covers a total of 859 vacancies across multiple posts. The online application process began on 2026-01-24 and the last date to apply and pay the fee is 2026-02-13. Applications are submitted online only through the official Telangana High Court recruitment portal. The selection process for all posts involves a CBT (objective type), and for posts requiring typing/shorthand skills, a qualifying skill test is also conducted; the final merit list is prepared based on CBT performance subject to qualifying in the skill test where applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification requirements as on 2026-07-01. The post-wise qualifications mentioned in the notification are as follows: Stenographer Grade-III requires a degree along with English shorthand (120 wpm), typing (45 wpm), and computer knowledge. Junior Assistant requires a degree and computer knowledge. Typist requires a degree and English typing (45 wpm). Field Assistant requires a degree in any discipline. Examiner requires Intermediate (10+2). Copyist requires Intermediate plus English typing (45 wpm). Record Assistant requires Intermediate. Process Server requires SSC/10th class. Office Subordinate requires 7th to 10th class or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit

For the posts, the age limit is specified as 18 to 46 years for most categories, while Process Server is specified as 18 to 45 years. The age criteria are to be considered as on 2026-07-01. The notification also states that age relaxation is applicable as per State Government rules, and candidates should refer to the official notification for the exact relaxation details applicable to their category and circumstances.

3. Complete Part-A: One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR) to generate a unique OTPR ID and password.
4. Log in using the OTPR ID and fill the Part-B: Application Form for the post you are applying for.
5. Upload the required scanned documents such as photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the application fee online through the payment gateway provided during the application process.
7. Preview the application, submit it, and take a printout of the final submitted application for future reference.

In addition to the basic pay, other allowances as admissible under the State Government rules are applicable.

Selection Process

The selection process for all posts includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective-type questions. For posts that require typing/shorthand skills (such as Stenographer, Typist, and Copyist), there is also a Skill Test that is qualifying in nature.
