Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a university recognised in India. They must also know how to operate a computer and be able to type at a speed of at least 35 words per minute on a computer.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 and no more than 30 years old as of 1 September 2026. Usual Government of India age relaxations apply to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), persons with disabilities and ex-servicemen. Dependents of freedom fighters may receive relaxation of up to five years beyond the upper age limit of 30. There is no upper age limit for departmental candidates of the Supreme Court Registry. Candidates employed in other government departments, public sector undertakings or nationalised banks are not eligible for age relaxation under this notification.

The application fee must be paid online using the payment gateway provided by UCO Bank. No other payment method or postal application will be accepted. The fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process
Selection has four stages. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying marks specified for each test: 50 out of 100 in the objective test, 10 out of 50 in the typing test, 50 out of 100 in the descriptive written test and 13 out of 25 in the interview.
