Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (HSC) from a recognized Board. In addition, candidates are required to be physically fit and capable of performing the physical duties associated with the Peon (Shipai) post.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age. The notification specifies that candidates born after 30-08-2005 or before 30-08-1986 are not eligible to apply. (This implies the age eligibility is aligned with the cut-off date of 30 August 2026.)

Selection Process

The recruitment for Peon (Shipai) will be based on an offline written examination followed by an interview (oral). Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:3 ratio against the number of vacancies. The list of candidates eligible for interview will be published on the Association’s website, the Bank’s website, and the Bank’s notice board. Document verification will be conducted at the time of the interview; only candidates found eligible after verification will be interviewed. Candidates who do not appear for the interview will be disqualified from final selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of the written examination and the interview, and it will be published on both the Bank’s and the Association’s websites. A waiting list equal to 20% of the vacancies will also be prepared, and it will remain valid for 1 year from the date of publication of the final selection list. Final appointment will be made as per the Bank’s prevailing terms and conditions.
