Educational Qualification
Applicants for each of the four posts must have a degree, in any discipline, from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification. The degree must have been obtained by the application closing date, 6 November 2026. Candidates awaiting their final examination results are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit
The age range for all posts is 18 to 33 years, calculated as of 1 January 2027. The notification gives these inclusive date-of-birth ranges: UR and EWS candidates must have been born from 2 January 1994 to 1 January 2009; OBC-NCL candidates from 2 January 1991 to 1 January 2009; and SC and ST candidates from 2 January 1989 to 1 January 2009.

Where a candidate qualifies for more than one age-relaxation category, only the single highest applicable relaxation is allowed; relaxations are not combined. SC, ST and OBC candidates applying against UR vacancies do not receive category-based age relaxation.
Medical Standards and PwBD Suitability
Appointment is subject to the medical standard for the selected post. Goods Train Manager carries the A-2 standard: distant vision of 6/9 and 6/9 without glasses, near vision of Sn 0.6 and 0.6 without glasses, and passing colour, binocular, night and myopic vision tests. A candidate who has undergone LASIK or another refractive-error correction surgery is not eligible for this A-2 post.
Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor has the B-2 standard, requiring distant vision of 6/9 and 6/12 with or without glasses (lens power up to 4D) and near vision of Sn 0.6 and 0.6. Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist have the C-2 standard, requiring distant vision of 6/12 and nil with or without glasses, and combined near vision of Sn 0.6. A candidate found medically unfit for an opted post will not be offered an alternative appointment.
As indicated in the notification, Goods Train Manager is not open to PwBD candidates. Senior Clerk cum Typist is suitable for blind and low-vision candidates; Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist is suitable for low-vision candidates; and Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor is suitable for certain hearing and locomotor disabilities, but not visual impairment. - Enter your personal and contact information carefully, then complete the Aadhaar verification process.
- Before proceeding, ensure the name and date of birth on Aadhaar match the full name and date of birth on your Class 10 pass certificate. The notification also advises updating the Aadhaar photograph and fingerprint and iris biometrics.

Selection Process
