RCF Kapurthala Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Rail Coach Factory (Kapurthala), under the Ministry of Railways, has released Notice No. A-1/2026 dated 07.08.2026 to engage 734 Act Apprentices in notified trades. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination (or its equivalent under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. In addition, candidates must possess the National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Procedure for CGPA: To convert CGPA into percentage, multiply the CGPA by 9.5. For example, CGPA 7.4 × 9.5 = 70.3%.

Age Limit

As on 05.09.2026, the candidate’s age should be between 15 years and 24 years. This means candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age.

The upper age limit is relaxable as per rules: by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC candidates, and by 10 years for Persons with Disability (PWD). Additional relaxation is also available for Ex-Servicemen as per applicable rules.

Selection Process
