Educational Qualification

For the Chowkidar post, candidates must have passed 10th class (Matric) from a recognized board/school. For the Sewadar (Safai Sewak) post, the notification states that there is no formal educational qualification requirement.

Age Limit

Candidates must be not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years of age as on 2026-08-01. Age relaxation will be provided for reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of Punjab. The Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat also reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable. Payment must be made online through the payment gateway on the official website. If fee relaxation is applicable based on category, the relevant certificate must be uploaded along with the application.

8. Upload domicile and complete declaration questions: Upload the Punjab domicile certificate, confirm nationality, and answer the Person with Disability and Punjabi Proficiency (Matric-level Punjabi) questions.
9. Provide required declarations: Fill the criminal proceedings declaration and government service details, if applicable.
10. Submit the form for preview: Enter the captcha, accept the declaration, and click “Preview & Submit.”
11. Confirm and submit: Review the application preview and click “Confirm & Submit.”
12. Pay the application fee online: Pay using Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or Wallets.
13. Download and print proof: Download and print the payment receipt and the submitted application form for future reference.

Selection Process

The selection process for Group D posts will be decided by the Departmental Selection Committee. A printed copy of the admit card must be carried to the examination/interview venue.
