Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed 10+2 along with at least a two-year Diploma or Certificate in Physical Education. The required qualification is Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) / Certificate in Physical Education (C.P.Ed) or an equivalent course under any other nomenclature. Candidates who are in the final year of their D.P.Ed/C.P.Ed diploma or certificate course are also eligible, provided they complete and pass the diploma by the date of the final recruitment merit list for this recruitment (the notification indicates this date is the date of the written test).

Age Limit

The age of applicants must be between 18 and 37 years as on 2026-01-01. The notification also provides age relaxations for specific categories. SC and Backward Class candidates with Punjab domicile get 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
