PRSC Recruitment 2026 for Clerk, Lab Attendant, Lab Executive & More

Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC), PAU Campus, Ludhiana has released a recruitment notification for regular appointments under Advertisement No. 4/2026 (dated 31.08.2026). The recruitment is for 6 vacancies across multiple posts including Clerk, Lab Attendant, Lab Executive, Chowkidar cum Mali, and Sweeper. Eligible Indian nationals should submit the prescribed application form offline and ensure it reaches the Director, PRSC, by the last date.

PRSC is filling a total of 6 vacancies on a regular basis. The notification was released on 2026-08-31, and the application forms (with required enclosures and fee proof) must be received by 2026-10-05 through registered/speed post or by hand. The selection process involves screening of bio-data, followed by a Punjabi Language Qualifying Test and then a written test and a post-specific Skill/Physical/Typing test as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Clerk: Candidates must have a Graduate degree with second division or above. Punjabi proficiency up to matric level is required. Additionally, candidates must have either a 120-hour computer course or an “O” Level DOEACC certification. The recruitment also requires candidates to qualify the Punjabi & English typing test at 30 wpm.

Lab. Attendant (Soil and Water Analysis): Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bio-Chem Laboratory or a related subject. Punjabi up to matric level is required.

Lab. Executive (IT & Electronics Network): Candidates must have a First Class Diploma or BCA or B.Sc. in IT/Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering. Punjabi up to matric level is required, or candidates must pass the required Punjabi within one year (as indicated in the notification).

Chowkidar cum Mali: Candidates must have passed Matric with Punjabi from a recognized board. They must also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Government Department/Autonomous Body/reputed organization. Watch & ward training is desirable.

Sweeper: Candidates must have Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the subjects from a recognized educational institution.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all posts is 37 years as on 2026-08-01. Age relaxation is available for specific categories as per the notification, including:

• SC and Backward Classes of Punjab: up to 42 years
• Persons with Disability of Punjab: up to 47 years
• Ex-Servicemen of Punjab Domicile: actual age minus the period of Armed Forces service, with a condition that the relaxation will not exceed the prescribed limit by more than 3 years
• Punjab Government/Board/Corporation/Commission/Authority employees: up to 45 years
• Widows, Divorcees, and certain other categories of Women: up to 42 years

How to Apply

1. Go to the official PRSC website: https://prsc.punjab.gov.in and download the prescribed application form for regular appointments.
2. Fill in the application form carefully with accurate personal details, educational qualifications, and experience details as required for the applied post.
3. Pay the non-refundable application fee either online (as per the account details mentioned in the notification) or via Demand Draft.
4. If paying through Demand Draft, it must be drawn in favour of “Director, Punjab Remote Sensing Centre”, payable at Ludhiana.
5. Attach copies of all relevant certificates, testimonials, and supporting documents for qualification and experience, along with proof of fee payment.
6. If you are already employed, apply through the proper channel or submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer. An advance copy with testimonials may also be sent.
7. Send the completed application form along with all enclosures to: The Director, Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC), PAU Campus, Ludhiana-141004 by Registered/Speed Post or by hand.
8. Ensure the application reaches the PRSC office on or before 2026-10-05. The notification states that postal delays will not be the responsibility of the office.

Salary & Pay Scale

The notification also mentions a probation period of 3 years. During probation, candidates will receive fixed emoluments equal to the Minimum Pay, without allowances.

Selection Process

Selection for the PRSC posts will be carried out through multiple stages. First, PRSC will screen the bio-data. After that, candidates must qualify a Punjabi Language Qualifying Test with a minimum of 50% marks. This is followed by a written test and then a post-specific Skill/Physical/Typing test as applicable for each role.
