Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Clerk: Candidates must have a Graduate degree with second division or above. Punjabi proficiency up to matric level is required. Additionally, candidates must have either a 120-hour computer course or an “O” Level DOEACC certification. The recruitment also requires candidates to qualify the Punjabi & English typing test at 30 wpm.
Lab. Attendant (Soil and Water Analysis): Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bio-Chem Laboratory or a related subject. Punjabi up to matric level is required.
Lab. Executive (IT & Electronics Network): Candidates must have a First Class Diploma or BCA or B.Sc. in IT/Electronics & Communication/Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering. Punjabi up to matric level is required, or candidates must pass the required Punjabi within one year (as indicated in the notification).
Chowkidar cum Mali: Candidates must have passed Matric with Punjabi from a recognized board. They must also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Government Department/Autonomous Body/reputed organization. Watch & ward training is desirable.
Sweeper: Candidates must have Matriculation with Punjabi as one of the subjects from a recognized educational institution.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all posts is 37 years as on 2026-08-01. Age relaxation is available for specific categories as per the notification, including:
- SC and Backward Classes of Punjab: up to 42 years
- Persons with Disability of Punjab: up to 47 years
