The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced 90 vacancies for Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer posts connected with the Namo Bharat Project (RRTS). The recruitment is open to candidates whose full-time qualifications match the requirements for their chosen post, including engineering and other graduates, diploma holders, and candidates with relevant ITI certificates.

The vacancies are covered by two notices: No. 33/2026 offers 23 contract-basis positions on regular pay scales, while No. 32/2026 provides 67 Operations and Maintenance positions through direct recruitment. Age Limit

The maximum age for all Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer posts is 28 years as on 10 September 2026. Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates. Ex-Servicemen receive 3 years of relaxation after deduction of the period of military service. PwBD relaxation is 10 years for UR/EWS candidates, 13 years for OBC (NCL), and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.

Application Fee

The fee is non-refundable. Candidates in the UR, OBC (NCL), EWS and Ex-Servicemen categories must pay Rs. 500, with transaction processing charges and GST payable in addition. SC, ST and PwBD applicants are exempt from the application fee.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online through the NCRTC recruitment portal. Candidates should read the relevant notice, as the two notices cover different posts and appointment routes.

  1. Open the NCRTC online application portal and select the relevant recruitment and post.
  2. Read the applicable vacancy notice and confirm that your qualification, age and category details meet the post requirements.
  3. Complete the online form using accurate personal, contact and educational information. Keep a valid personal email address and mobile number available.
  4. Upload the required documents: a recent colour passport-size photograph in JPG/JPEG format, 100–200 KB; a scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format, 80–150 KB; and category/caste certificates, where applicable, and educational or other certificates in JPG/JPEG/PDF format, 100–1,000 KB.
  5. Pay the applicable fee online. The fee is charged separately for each post applied for, where payable.
  6. Review the entries and uploaded files, submit the application, and retain its confirmation for your records before the deadline of 9 October 2026 at 11:55 pm.

Candidates may apply for more than one post, but must pay the application fee separately for each post when applicable. CBTs for different posts may be scheduled for the same date and time, in which case a candidate can appear for only one of those examinations.

Salary & Pay Scale

Supervisor-I positions are in S1, while Junior Maintainer posts are in NS3. The pay scales and initial basic pay stated in the notification are shown below.

Other stated benefits include Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), perks and allowances under the Cafeteria Approach, and other benefits under the company rules in force.

Surety bond: Selected Supervisors in post codes C01–C08 and D01–D05 must execute a bond of Rs. 4,00,000 and serve NCRTC for at least three years. Selected Non-Supervisors in post codes C09–C10 and D06–D09 must execute a bond of Rs. 3,00,000 and also serve for a minimum of three years.

Selection Process

Selection consists of a Computer Based Test followed by a medical fitness test for candidates selected after the CBT. The CBT has 100 questions for 100 marks and lasts 90 minutes. Each correct answer earns one mark, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers, and candidates may take the test in Hindi or English. The minimum qualifying score is 60% for UR, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates, and 50% for SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Further selection is merit-based.

The medical examination follows the standards in the Indian Railway Medical Manual. The applicable standard is C-1 for post codes C01–C06; A-3 for C07–C08 and D01–D05; and B-1 for C09–C10 and D06–D09.
