NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2026

NABARD has issued Advertisement No. 04 for the recruitment of Specialists on contract, covering roles in information security, cyber security, IT infrastructure and technology audit. The opportunity is intended for qualified professionals with the relevant degrees, certifications and work experience for their chosen post.

There are 16 vacancies at NABARD’s Head Office in Mumbai. Educational Qualification

Age Limit

Application Fee

How to Apply

1. Visit the official NABARD website at www.nabard.org and open the Career Notices section.
2. Locate Advertisement No. 04 for the Specialist recruitment and select the “APPLY HERE” option for the relevant notice. The online application portal is ibpsreg.ibps.in/nabardsjul26/.
3. Register as a candidate and complete the application with accurate personal and educational details.
4. Upload the required documents, photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. Keep an active email address and mobile number available.
5. Prepare the supporting records requested in the notification, including qualification documents, a recent 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm photograph, black-ink signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration. The application also calls for a current CV or résumé in PDF format (maximum 500 KB), proof of current Cost to Company in PDF format (maximum 500 KB), and category certificate or employer NOC where applicable.
6. Review the completed form carefully, pay the applicable fee and charges, and submit the application online.
7. Download and retain the final submitted application and payment details for future reference. Submit the form by 26 October 2026; no application mode other than online is accepted.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected Specialists receive consolidated, all-inclusive remuneration determined by post, ranging from 1200000 to 4000000 per annum. The contract is initially for two years and may be extended for a further three years, up to a maximum total period of five years.

The notification also provides for an annual increment of up to 10%, subject to satisfactory performance. Where quarters are not allotted, HRA is 10% of remuneration. Other stated benefits include travelling and halting allowance at the rate admissible to officers of equivalent grade, up to 30 days of leave per calendar year, medical facilities for the Specialist at the Bank’s dispensary, and office space, internet connectivity and other support facilities. Specialists are not entitled to superannuation benefits such as provident fund, pension or gratuity.

Selection Process

NABARD will assess applications and shortlist candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience and related criteria. The stated interview shortlisting ratio is 1:3. Shortlisted applicants proceed to an interview; the interview date will be announced later. Candidates serving in government or quasi-government offices, public sector undertakings, nationalized banks or financial institutions are advised to provide an employer’s No Objection Certificate at interview. Selected candidates must also pass a pre-recruitment medical examination. NABARD may change the number of posts or cancel the recruitment, in whole or in part, according to institutional requirements.
