MPESB Patwari (Divyang) Recruitment 2026

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal, has released the rulebook for the Group 2 Sub-Group 4 Patwari Recruitment 2026. This recruitment is specifically reserved for Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) candidates and is conducted under the Land Resource Management Department (Revenue Department), Gwalior. MPESB is inviting online applications for a total of 200 Patwari vacancies reserved exclusively for Divyang candidates across districts of Madhya Pradesh. Vacancy Details

The Patwari post is a district-level cadre role under the Land Resource Management Department (Revenue Department), Gwalior. The recruitment is reserved for Divyang candidates, and visually impaired candidates are not eligible for the Patwari post as per Revenue Department orders. The notification also mentions that vacancy distribution is district-wise across Madhya Pradesh, with higher vacancies reported in districts such as Rewa (17), Barwani (10), Dhar (11), Khargone (9), Sagar (7), and Chhindwara (8).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university to be eligible for the Patwari (Divyang category) recruitment.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 2026-01-01. For permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, the age limit is 18 to 45 years. The maximum age limit will not exceed 45 years even after including all applicable relaxations, except for specific categories such as contractual employees as defined in the rulebook.

In addition to age and education, candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions: they must be an Indian citizen and a permanent/local resident (domicile) of Madhya Pradesh; they must possess a valid CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) score card that includes Hindi typing and computer proficiency; candidates who have not cleared CPCT at the time of selection must clear it within 3 years of their probation period, failing which their appointment will be cancelled; they must have a valid disability certificate issued by a competent authority under the relevant Divyang category; and they must have live registration with the Madhya Pradesh Employment Exchange.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selection Process

Selection for the Patwari post will be carried out through an online computer-based examination followed by document verification. Only candidates who secure at least 40% qualifying marks in the examination will be included in the merit list. After the examination, document verification will be conducted by a district-level committee and the district medical board for disability certificate verification. District allotment will be based on the merit list and the district preference order submitted in the application form, and the district preference cannot be changed after submission.
