Selection Process
The selection process includes four stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Interview. In the Preliminary stage, the exam is objective type with 100 marks and a duration of 2 hours, and candidates are shortlisted for the Main Examination in a 1:10 ratio. The Main Examination consists of two papers (Paper I and Paper II), each carrying 300 marks and 2 hours duration, with negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Candidates who qualify in the written stages will be called for PET, where events include 800 meter race (40 marks), long jump (30 marks), and shot put (30 marks), totaling 100 marks; qualifying marks are 30 for Non-Technical posts and 20 for Technical posts. Finally, an Interview of 50 marks is conducted for candidates who qualify in all previous stages, and the final selection is based on Main Written Examination (600 marks), PET (100 marks), and Interview (50 marks), totaling 750 marks.
