MP High Court Assistant Grade-3 Recruitment 2026

Madhya Pradesh High Court has released the recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Grade-3 (सहायक ग्रेड-III). Eligible candidates can apply through the official website during the online registration window. The selection will be based on an online preliminary examination and a Hindi typing skill test, followed by further verification stages.

The recruitment is for a total of 1174 vacancies. The online application process starts on 2026-08-17 and the last date to submit the application is 2026-09-15 up to 5:00 PM. Applications must be submitted in online only mode. The overall selection process includes an online preliminary examination (100 marks) and a Hindi typing skill test (50 marks), and the final merit is prepared based on combined performance, along with document verification and medical examination.

Important Notes on Reservation:

• Women Candidates: 35% horizontal reservation as per government notification dated 03.10.2023.
• Ex-Servicemen: 10% horizontal reservation as per notification dated 21.04.1999.
• PwD (Divyangjan): 6% reservation as per circular dated 01.06.2022.
• EWS: 10% vertical reservation as per notification dated 02.07.2019.
• OBC: 27% reservation (increased from 14%) as per 2019 amendment (subject to court orders).
• Contractual Employees: 20% horizontal reservation for employees working for at least 5 years on contract basis in MP High Court or District Courts.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Assistant Grade-3 must meet the following educational requirements:

• Graduation: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
• Computer qualification: Either (a) a CPCT Score Card exam passed from MAP-IT or any other agency/institution recognized by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, or (b) a one-year Diploma course in Computer Application from an institution recognized by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

The notification also lists recognized computer diploma institutions and acceptable qualifications. Recognized diploma sources include UGC recognized University Diploma, UGC recognized Open University Diploma, DOEACC/NIELIT diploma level examination, Government Polytechnic College (Modern Office Management Course), and Government ITI (One Year COPA Certificate).

Other recognized qualifications mentioned include B.E. (CSE/IT) / MCA / BCA / M.Sc. (IT/CS) / B.Sc. (IT/CS) / M.Tech / M.E., and AICTE approved Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Application/IT. The notification further states that B.Sc./B.Com degrees with only one computer subject are not valid.

Age Limit

The minimum and maximum age limits are as follows (as mentioned in the notification):

• Minimum age: 18 years (as on 01.01.2026).
• MP State Male applicants (UR/EWS): up to 40 years.
• MP State Male/Female applicants (OBC/SC/ST): up to 45 years.
• MP State Government/Corporation/Board employees: up to 45 years.
• Contractual employees (5+ years service): age relaxation equal to the contract period, with a maximum limit of 55 years.
• Other State applicants: considered under UR category, with maximum age up to 40 years.

Important note on domicile and relaxation: Reservation and age relaxation benefits apply only to Madhya Pradesh domicile holders. Candidates from other states will be considered under the UR category.

Application Fee

Important notes: The application is considered complete only after successful payment of the prescribed fee. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The fee may be subject to change, and candidates must pay the revised fee if applicable. For the Hindi typing skill test, an additional portal fee of 743.40 INR will be applicable.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website of Madhya Pradesh High Court: https://www.mphc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, go to the “Recruitment/Result” tab and click “Online Application Forms/Admit Cards”.
3. Use the links provided on the page. The notification indicates four links: Advertisement (read the full notification), Registration (start registration), Application (fill the form), and Edit Application (corrections during the specified period).
4. Click “Registration” and enter required details such as personal information, educational details, and contact information.
5. After registration, your User ID and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
6. Log in using the received User ID and Password.
7. Complete the application form with all required details.
8. Upload scanned copies of a recent photograph and signature.
9. Pay the application fee online using the available payment methods (Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI / Credit Card).
10. Preview the application form carefully.
11. Click “Submit” to finalize the submission.
12. Download and take a printout of the final submitted application form for future reference.

Correction window: After final submission, editing is not allowed except during the correction period from 2026-09-19 to 2026-09-21 for specific fields only (registration details cannot be edited).

Salary & Pay Scale

The notification also notes the pay structure as per the 6th Pay Commission: 5200-20200 with Grade Pay 1900. In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to allowances and benefits such as DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, medical facilities, and other allowances as per government rules.

Selection Process

The recruitment selection process includes multiple stages. First, candidates will appear for an Online Preliminary Examination of 100 marks (MCQ based). Next, they will be evaluated in a Hindi Typing Skill Test of 50 marks.
