KSRTC-SWIFT Driver, Conductor Recruitment 2026

KSRTC-SWIFT Limited, a Government of Kerala undertaking, is recruiting for Driver, Conductor and Driver-cum-Conductor posts under Notification No. KS-GL01/17/2026-GL-K-SWIFT. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed the required school standard from a recognised board or institution: 9th standard for Driver posts, and 10th standard for Conductor and Driver-cum-Conductor posts. Each role also has licence and, in some cases, experience requirements.

The stated physical standards are a minimum height of 158 cm and a normal chest measurement of 76 cm. Distant vision must be 6/6 Snellen in each eye, while near vision must be 0.5 Snellen in each eye.

Age Limit

Salary & Pay Scale

All three posts carry a daily wage of Rs. 715 for an eight-hour duty. The notification also lists an additional-hour allowance of Rs. 130 per hour, incentives or batta under company rules, and kilometre allowance, night allowance and collection batta where applicable. It states that candidates receive one weekly off and one day off per week.

Selection Process

The selection stages vary by post. Driver applicants undergo a driving skill test followed by an interview. Conductor applicants take a written test followed by an interview. Driver-cum-Conductor applicants take a written test, a driving skill test and then an interview. A rank list will be prepared based on performance in the applicable stages; appointments on a daily-wage basis will be made from that list, which remains valid for one year.
