Selection Process
The recruitment has two selection stages: an online written test and a Viva-Voce Test. The online examination will be held at designated centres, with questions displayed on a monitor and the question paper in English. The tentative examination-centre list includes Bhubaneswar; the venue and other details will be stated in the call letter. Requests to change the examination centre, venue, date or session will not be entertained. Call letters are expected to be available for download 10 days before the examination.
The written test has 200 objective questions for 200 marks and lasts 135 minutes in total. Reasoning and Computer Aptitude has 50 questions for 50 marks with 35 minutes; Quantitative Aptitude has 50 questions for 50 marks with 35 minutes; General and Financial Awareness has 50 questions for 50 marks with 30 minutes; and English Language has 50 questions for 50 marks with 35 minutes. A wrong answer attracts a deduction of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question. There is no penalty for an unanswered question.
Candidates shortlisted from the written test will be called for the Viva-Voce Test. The viva will be held at the bank’s head office premises at Kajala, Post/Dist. Kendrapara, Odisha, or at another venue or centre decided by the bank. The bank will publish the viva notification and venue details on its website. Final selection will be based on the aggregate of the written test, viva-voce and experience.
