Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the minimum educational requirements as per the apprenticeship category. For Graduate Apprentices, the candidate must possess B.E./B.Tech. in the concerned discipline from any recognized university. For Technician Apprentices, the candidate must possess a Diploma in the respective discipline from a recognized State Board. For Commercial Practice Apprentices, the candidate must possess a Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognized board.
Only regular candidates are eligible, and the qualifying examination must have been completed as a regular candidate. Candidates with sandwich course certificates, private college degrees, or short-term/certificate courses are not acceptable. Candidates who are pursuing higher studies are also not acceptable.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit and subsequent verification. In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted according to the percentage of marks obtained in the relevant educational qualification. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for Document Verification. After successful document verification, a panel is prepared based on academic scores. Induction of apprentices is done strictly according to their position in the panel, and selected candidates are informed by email only. The notification also states that candidates shortlisted for document verification are not eligible for Travelling Allowance (TA).
Candidates must produce original documents during document verification, including proof of date of birth, marks sheets, testimonials, and certificates. SC/ST/OBC candidates must submit a valid caste certificate in the prescribed Government of India format. EWS candidates must submit an income and assets certificate valid for the year 2025-2026. PwBD candidates (with 40% or more disability) must submit a valid disability certificate and a Unique Disability Identity Card.
