Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages: (1) a Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) and (2) an Interview. The CBT includes Part A (discipline/area specific) with 80 MCQs for 90 minutes and Part B (aptitude/ability) with 15 MCQs for 30 minutes. The total CBT marks are 100. For Part A, there is negative marking: +1 for a correct answer, -1/3 for a wrong answer, and 0 for unattempted questions; for Part B, there is no negative marking. Qualifying marks for the written test are 50% for unreserved (UR) and 40% for PwBD (reserved posts). Shortlisted candidates then appear for an interview, where the shortlisting ratio is 1:5 (minimum 10 candidates), with separate shortlisting for reserved vacancies. Interview marks are allocated across technical (academic) knowledge (40), general awareness (technical) (20), presentation/communication skill (20), comprehension (10), and academic achievements (10), for a total of 100. Qualifying criteria for the interview are 50% for UR and 40% for PwBD (reserved posts). Final panel generation uses 50% weightage for written test marks and 50% weightage for interview marks. If there is a tie in final marks, the notification specifies tie-breakers in the order of written test/CBT marks, marks in essential qualification, and date of birth (older candidates placed higher).
Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions should complete their online application and payment well before the closing date of 2026-09-16 (11:55 PM) to avoid last-minute issues.
