IIT BHU Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026

For Junior Technician Group-I (Post Code: 26119), the requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry/Physics as a subject and at least 55% marks. For Junior Technician Group-II (Post Code: 26120), candidates must have either a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) in the relevant branch (Mechanical/Metallurgical/Ceramic/Materials Science) with at least 55% marks, or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch with at least 55% marks plus 1 year of relevant experience.

For Junior Technician Group-III (Post Code: 26121), the branch is Electrical/Electronics, and candidates must have either a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks, or a 3-year Diploma in the relevant branch with at least 55% marks plus 1 year of relevant experience. For Junior Technician Group-IV (Post Code: 26122), the branch includes Civil/Architecture, Planning & Design/Mining; candidates must have either a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) in the relevant field with at least 55% marks, or a 3-year Diploma in the relevant branch with at least 55% marks plus 1 year of relevant experience. Lib. & Info. Sc. degree with 55% marks. A desirable requirement is hands-on computer applications experience in a library of repute. For Assistant Engineer (Post Code: 26125), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering, and the notification specifies post-qualification experience requirements along with the qualification. For Junior Engineer (Post Code: 26126), candidates must have B.E./B.Tech. in Civil with at least 55% marks and the required post-qualification experience, or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Civil) with 55% marks and the required post-qualification experience.
