IIM Sirmaur Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur is recruiting Indian Nationals for three non-teaching roles under Recruitment Advertisement No. 03/2026. The openings are for Medical Officers, an Accreditation Executive and Research Associates, and are suited to candidates who meet the qualifications and experience requirements for their chosen post.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the relevant requirements for the post they seek. The notification states that eligibility conditions, including age, are assessed on the date of application.

Educational Qualification

Medical Officer: Applicants need an MBBS with at least 60% marks, including completion of the compulsory rotatory internship, from an Indian university or institute recognised by the Medical Council of India or National Medical Commission. Registration with an Indian or State doctors' body is also required. An MD in General Medicine or a postgraduate diploma in General Medicine with at least 60% marks is desirable, along with relevant post-PG experience. The notification specifies desirable experience of at least three years for MBBS-qualified applicants, or one year for applicants with a postgraduate qualification, in a reputed government, PSU or private hospital. Retired doctors from Central or State Government departments and PSUs are encouraged to apply.

Accreditation Executive: A PhD in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Education, Statistics, Social Sciences or another relevant discipline from a recognised university or institution is preferred. Applicants should have at least two years of relevant experience in areas such as accreditation, quality assurance, institutional ranking, academic administration, research projects or data analysis, preferably in a reputed educational institution, university or institute.

Research Associate: Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. A master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, English or another relevant discipline is desirable. At least one year of relevant experience in research, academic projects, data analysis, research assistance or related work in a university, IIM, IIT, research institution or reputed organisation is desirable.

Age Limit

The maximum age on the date of application is 65 years for Medical Officer, 40 years for Accreditation Executive and 35 years for Research Associate. The notification does not specify any age-relaxation provisions.

How to Apply

2. Prepare the application in the prescribed format and include an up-to-date bio-data with your education details, marks or percentages for examinations passed, work history and a recent passport-size photograph.
3. Combine the required supporting documents into a single PDF. Include your Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets; bachelor's and master's degree certificates and mark sheets arranged by year or semester; other qualifications and relevant certificates; work-experience certificates arranged from latest to earliest; the last three salary slips from your current organisation; your latest CV; and any other essential documents.

5. Submit the email no later than 12 October 2026. Applications received late, in an unprescribed format, incomplete or without the required documents may be summarily rejected.

The notification also advises candidates to provide original and self-attested photocopies of academic and professional certificates as part of the application requirements. No application mode other than email is accepted.

Salary & Pay Scale

All amounts below are consolidated monthly remuneration. Higher remuneration may be considered for Medical Officer candidates with exceptional qualifications and experience.

Each engagement is initially for one year from the date of joining. Extension may be made from year to year, or for another period determined by the institute, depending on its requirements and satisfactory performance. The stated duration for the Accreditation Executive and Research Associate roles allows an extension for another year.

Selection Process

Applications are assessed with reference to the candidate's consistent academic record and experience. IIM Sirmaur will shortlist eligible candidates and inform them of the date and time of the personal interview; the interview is the stated selection stage. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria may be rejected. No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) is payable for attending the interview, and the institute will not entertain correspondence about the interview's conduct or result, including reasons a candidate was not called.
