Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications, as applicable:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce along with a two-year certificate course in Primary Teachers Course.
• OR a one-year degree in Special Education.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• OR a Higher Secondary Certificate along with a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
• OR a Higher Secondary Certificate along with a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Education.

In addition, candidates must have basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both, is also required.

Selection Process
