HPRCA Clerk (Job Trainee) Recruitment 2026

The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur has released the HPRCA Clerk Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 13/2026 dated 2026-08-07. The recruitment is for the post of Clerk (Job Trainee) under the Department of Personnel (Secretariat Administration Services-I). Eligible candidates who meet the required qualification and typing speed can apply online during the notified application window.

This recruitment drive offers a total of 40 vacancies for Clerk (Job Trainee). Online recruitment application (ORA) will be accepted from 2026-08-14 at 10:00 AM until 2026-09-11 at 11:59 PM, after which the application link will be disabled. Candidates must apply online only through the official HPRCA website, and the selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written screening test followed by a typing skill test for shortlisted candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. In addition, they must meet the typing requirement of minimum 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.

Age Limit

The age limit is 18 to 45 years as on 2026-01-01. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Persons with Disabilities who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh, and for employees of the Himachal Pradesh Government and ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh. The notification also states that eligibility determination is based on the closing date for submission of the ORA, i.e., 2026-09-11 (11:59 PM).

How to Apply

1. Go to the official HPRCA portal: https://hprca.hp.gov.in and click “Sign Up” to create a username and password.
2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) by entering personal details, educational qualifications, work experience (if any), and uploading a recent photograph and signature.
3. Ensure your profile is complete and updated before starting the application for the post.
4. On the portal, view the list of available posts and click “Apply” against the desired post (Clerk (Job Trainee)).
5. Select your preferred exam district(s) from the dropdown menu.
6. Review the auto-filled application details carefully before proceeding.
7. Pay the required examination and processing fee through the available online payment gateway using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
8. After successful payment, note the application confirmation; only then will the application be treated as complete.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be engaged as Job Trainees under the Job Trainee Scheme-2025 notified by the Department of Personnel. During the training period, candidates will receive a consolidated fixed amount of 12500 per month.

Selection Process

The selection process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written screening test followed by a typing skill test. The typing skill test is conducted for candidates who are shortlisted after the CBT/written screening stage.
