Hartron Junior Programmer (Job Work Basis) Recruitment 2026

Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. (Hartron) has released the Hartron Junior Programmer Recruitment 2026 notification for updating the panel of Junior Programmers across all districts of Haryana. This recruitment is on a job work basis under the State Reservation Policy. The recruitment is being conducted to update the panel for a total of 530 Junior Programmer positions across 23 districts of Haryana. Educational Qualification

Candidates must be graduates with any one of the following qualifications and must have secured at least 55% marks (or an equivalent requirement as per the notification): PGDCA/PDCA/PGDIT/APGDCA, or BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)/MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT)/B.Tech/M.Tech (in any stream), or a three-year Diploma in Computer Application/IT from SBTE/University, or an ‘A’/’B’/’C’ level course from DOE/NIELIT. If you have obtained MCA/M.Tech through distance education or part-time mode, the degree/course must be approved or permitted by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

How to Apply

3. Register using the required details and create your login credentials.
4. Fill the application form carefully with personal details, educational details, and district preference. As per the notification, you can select only one district.
5. Upload the required documents supporting your educational qualification and reserved category details (if applicable).
6. Pay the application fee online using the available payment gateway (GST is applicable as per category).
7. Re-check all entered information before submitting the form.
8. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
9. After submission, download the admit card from the Hartron website starting from 2026-08-12.

Selection Process

The selection process follows a rolling-basis procedure applicable to computer professionals (apart from Data Entry Operator). It includes a Domain Knowledge Test (1st test), mandatory training, and a practical/project test (2nd test). The 1st test is a computer-based MCQ test covering general computer topics and questions specific to the domain applied for, conducted at IDDC, Ambala and HMSDC, Gurugram. The result of the 1st test remains valid for 1 year from the date of notifying the posts/advertisement. After clearing document scrutiny, candidates undergo training for approximately 50 hours, to be completed within one month, at Hartron centres in Ambala and Gurugram, with a minimum attendance requirement of 75%. Candidates are required to pay a refundable security deposit of 1500 after clearing the 1st test. Candidates who complete training with at least 75% attendance become eligible for the 2nd test, which is practical/project-based. A maximum of 2 attempts is allowed for the 2nd test against a single advertisement. The final merit list is prepared by giving equal weightage to the 1st Domain Knowledge Test and the 2nd Practical Test.
