Selection Process

The selection process follows a rolling-basis procedure applicable to computer professionals (apart from Data Entry Operator). It includes a Domain Knowledge Test (1st test), mandatory training, and a practical/project test (2nd test). The 1st test is a computer-based MCQ test covering general computer topics and questions specific to the domain applied for, conducted at IDDC, Ambala and HMSDC, Gurugram. The result of the 1st test remains valid for 1 year from the date of notifying the posts/advertisement. After clearing document scrutiny, candidates undergo training for approximately 50 hours, to be completed within one month, at Hartron centres in Ambala and Gurugram, with a minimum attendance requirement of 75%. Candidates are required to pay a refundable security deposit of 1500 after clearing the 1st test. Candidates who complete training with at least 75% attendance become eligible for the 2nd test, which is practical/project-based. A maximum of 2 attempts is allowed for the 2nd test against a single advertisement.
