Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has announced the Computer Based Test (CBT) date for its Deputy Manager recruitment under Advertisement No. PLR/Lateral/02/2025/06. Selection Process
The selection stages are a Computer Based Test, Document Verification and a Personal Interview. The CBT is a qualifying stage, and candidates will be considered for subsequent stages based on their CBT marks, merit and fulfilment of the other applicable criteria. Appearing in the CBT alone does not guarantee a call for verification or interview. DVC will publish the Document Verification and interview schedule separately on its website.
The CBT is a domain-specific Technical Knowledge Test based on the advertised post. It consists of 75 objective questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 120 minutes. There are 50 questions worth one mark each and 25 questions worth two marks each. Each question has four options and one correct answer. The paper is bilingual in English and Hindi. For every incorrect answer, one quarter of that question’s marks is deducted: 0.25 mark for a one-mark question and 0.50 mark for a two-mark question.
