Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. RMLIMS), Lucknow has released a recruitment notification for non-teaching posts under Group ‘B’, ‘C’, and ‘D’. The institute invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals for direct recruitment through an online Computer Based Test (CBT). Important note on domicile/reservation: Only permanent residents (domicile) of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply against reserved posts (both horizontal and vertical reservation). Candidates from other states who belong to reserved categories must apply only under the Unreserved (UR) category.

Selection Process

Selection for Dr. RMLIMS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 is conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) in two stages: a Screening Examination and a Main Examination. Both stages are conducted bilingually in Hindi and English. The Screening Examination is qualifying in nature; marks from the screening stage are not carried forward for final selection. Candidates who meet the category-wise minimum qualifying marks in the screening stage are shortlisted in the ratio of 10 times the advertised posts (per category) for the Main Examination. Final selection is based solely on Main Examination marks, as per merit and reservation norms. For posts where applicable (such as Stenographer), a Skill Test is conducted after the Main Exam; the Skill Test is qualifying only and does not contribute to final selection. For the Skill Test, candidates equal to 5 times the advertised posts (per category) are shortlisted, and the stenography/typing test is conducted in English and Hindi using Mangal/Krutidev 10 font as per the candidate’s choice.

CBT exam pattern (Screening and Mains): Each CBT consists of 100 marks with sections for subject related to the post (60 marks), General English (10), General Knowledge (10), Reasoning (10), and Mathematical Aptitude (10). The duration is 2 hours for each exam. Questions are multiple choice questions (MCQs) only. Negative marking applies: 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer, and 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Qualifying marks are category-wise: 50% for Unreserved/EWS and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
