Selected candidates will be appointed on 2-year probation and will receive pay as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, along with admissible allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, children education allowance, leave travel concession, medical facilities, CSD facilities, and other allowances as per extant government rules. Recruited candidates will be covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS)/Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).

Selection Process

The DGQA Technician selection process includes two stages and does not involve an interview. First, candidates will appear for a written test consisting of objective MCQs. After the written test, shortlisted candidates will be called for a trade test. The trade test carries 100 marks, and candidates must score a minimum of 40 marks to qualify.

The written test is of 90 minutes duration and carries 100 marks, with four sections of 25 marks each: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension, and Numerical Aptitude.
