BHEL FTA Gr III Supervisor (Safety) Recruitment 2026

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has released the BHEL FTA Supervisor Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. FTA 02/2026. The recruitment is for the BHEL-Transmission Business Group (TBG), Noida, for the post of FTA Gr III Supervisor (Safety) on a fixed tenure basis for the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function at TBG sites across India. Eligible candidates can apply online from 18 August 2026 to 7 September 2026 through the official BHEL careers website.

This recruitment is for a total of 10 vacancies. The online application window opens on 18 August 2026 and closes on 7 September 2026. After submitting the online form, candidates are required to print the acknowledgement slip, sign it, affix a recent photograph, and send it along with self-attested documents and the fee receipt (where applicable) by post within the specified deadline. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in any branch from a recognized Indian University/Board. Minimum marks required are 60% for UR/EWS/OBC/PwD/ST candidates and 50% for SC candidates. A desirable qualification is a full-time (1 year) Diploma in Industrial Safety, preferably from RLI/CLI.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years as on 02.08.2026, which means the candidate’s date of birth should be on or later than 02.08.1991. Age relaxation is applicable as per category: SC candidates get 5 years relaxation; PwD (UR) candidates get 10 years; PwD (SC) candidates get 15 years. Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

3. Pay the non-refundable processing fee of 236 (online) if applicable to your category, and keep the transaction details ready for entry in the application form.
4. Upload the required documents during the online submission, including photograph and signature, along with other mandatory documents such as date of birth proof and qualification certificates.
5. Submit the application online and take a printout of the acknowledgement slip generated after submission.
6. Sign the acknowledgement slip, affix a recent photograph, and attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents.

Selection Process

The selection process for the BHEL FTA Supervisor Recruitment 2026 consists of screening/shortlisting of applications followed by a personal interview. There is no written examination. Applications are screened based on the prescribed job specifications. If the number of eligible applications is higher than the requirement, shortlisting for interview is done on a merit basis in a ratio of 1:10 against vacancies in each category. The merit for shortlisting is determined using the total percentage secured in the relevant Diploma in Engineering. If the number of eligible applications is fewer than the 1:10 ratio, all eligible candidates are called for interview. The selection is provisional until document verification and medical fitness clearance are completed.
