BEML Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 (Tenure Basis) – 10 Vacancies

BEML Limited (a Government of India undertaking) has released the BEML Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 for candidates seeking tenure-based employment. The recruitment is open to eligible Indian nationals who have completed the required 3-year Polytechnic Engineering Diploma in specified branches. Selection will be based on a Computer Based Written Test, followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a 3-year full-time Polytechnic Engineering Diploma in one of the following disciplines: Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Electronics, or Mechatronics. The diploma must be completed from AICTE/DCTE approved colleges or institutions with first class, i.e., 60% aggregate marks.

For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum percentage requirement is relaxable by 5%. The notification also specifies that the diploma should have been completed as a regular candidate. Candidates with a degree higher than the diploma are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for applying is as follows (as on 2026-09-08): GEN/EWS candidates up to 29 years; OBC candidates up to 32 years (with 3 years relaxation); and SC/ST candidates up to 34 years (with 5 years relaxation). Candidates must ensure they meet the age criteria applicable to their category.

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable for the applicable categories. SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Salary & Pay Scale

The engagement is on tenure basis for a maximum period of four years from the date of engagement. The notification also mentions that tenure-based engagement does not confer any right to claim regular employment status in the Company.

Selection Process

Selection for the Non-Executive tenure-based posts will be carried out in three stages. First, candidates will appear for a Computer Based Written Test. Based on written test performance, shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in strict order of merit. The final selection will be made considering performance in the written test, along with successful completion of Document Verification and the pre-employment Medical Examination.
