The remaining Paper II areas include air, water, soil and noise pollution, their effects, standards and control methods; wastewater treatment and recycling; solid and industrial waste management, including municipal waste, e-waste and bioremediation; global environmental problems and relevant international protocols and Indian environmental laws and waste-management rules; and environmental impact assessment, baseline data, risk assessment, environmental management plans, sustainable development, green buildings, ecological footprints, life-cycle assessment and low-carbon lifestyles.
The computer-based written test is scheduled for Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Ananthapuramu. Applicants may give three centre preferences. APPSC may establish other centres or allot a candidate to a centre based on resource availability.
