APCOB Staff Assistant & Assistant Manager Recruitment 2026

Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (APCOB) along with the Andhra Pradesh District Cooperative Central Banks (AP DCCBs) has released recruitment notifications for Assistant Manager (Scale-I) and Staff Assistant posts across multiple districts in Andhra Pradesh. Educational Qualification

Assistant Manager (Scale-I): Candidates must have a first class graduation in any discipline, or high second class in Commerce (aggregate of 55% and above), or a post-graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university, as on the date of notification. In addition, candidates must have knowledge of English and proficiency in the local language (Telugu), and must possess working knowledge of computers.

Staff Assistant: Candidates must have graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. They must also have knowledge of English and proficiency in Telugu, along with working knowledge of computers. For in-service candidates of PACS affiliated to the DCCB, the eligibility includes Intermediate plus JDC/HDC/DCRS, or graduation from a recognized university, along with a minimum of 10 years of service in an affiliated PACS.

Age Limit

The age of candidates for both Assistant Manager and Staff Assistant (Open Market) posts is reckoned as on 2026-06-01, with a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum age of 30 years.

Age relaxation is available as per category, including: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation; Backward Class (BC) candidates get 3 years; Physically Challenged candidates get 10 years (General), 15 years (SC/ST), and 13 years (BC). Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen get relaxation equal to the actual period of service + 3 years (and 8 years for disabled ex-servicemen from SC/ST), subject to a maximum age of 50 years. For in-service candidates of Cooperative/Commercial Banks, relaxation is equal to service rendered, subject to maximum ages of 35 years (General), 38 years (BC), and 40 years (SC/ST).

The notification also notes that age relaxation is cumulative as per Government guidelines. For in-service PACS candidates applying for Staff Assistant, relaxation is given up to 45 years (OC) and further relaxed for reserved categories, with an overall limit of 50 years.

3. Select “Click here for New Registration” and enter your name, contact details, and email ID. A Provisional Registration Number and password will be generated and sent to you via email/SMS.
4. Log in using the Provisional Registration Number and password, and fill in the application form with personal, educational, and category details.
5. Scan and upload the required documents, including a photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm), signature in black ink, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration as per the format specified in the notification.
6. Pay the applicable application fee online through the payment gateway. Remember that bank transaction charges are to be paid by the candidate.

Selection for both Assistant Manager (Scale-I) and Staff Assistant posts will be based on an Online Written Examination conducted in English. After the written test, shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification and then a Medical Examination. The notification clearly states that there will be no interview for either post.

Online Exam Pattern: The Assistant Manager (Scale-I) online test is for 200 marks with a duration of 120 minutes, comprising Reasoning (40 questions, 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (40 questions, 50 marks), English Language (40 questions, 40 marks), Financial Awareness (40 questions, 40 marks), and Computer Knowledge (40 questions, 20 marks). The Staff Assistant online test is also for 200 marks with 120 minutes, comprising Reasoning (40 questions, 50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions, 50 marks), English Language (40 questions, 40 marks), General Awareness (40 questions, 40 marks), and Computer Knowledge (40 questions, 20 marks).
