AAI Manager & Junior Executive Recruitment 2026

Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise with Mini Ratna Category-1 status, has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Managers and Junior Executives in various disciplines. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official AAI website. The recruitment is conducted against Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT.

AAI is inviting applications for a total of 389 vacancies. The online application window opens on 2026-08-08 and closes on 2026-09-07. Applications must be submitted online only. Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (objective type, with no negative marking), followed by application verification and/or interview for specific post codes (Post Codes 1 to 11). For the Manager (Fire Services) post, candidates must also clear additional physical and driving-related tests before the interview stage.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the educational qualification requirements as specified post-wise in the notification. For example, Manager (Engg-Civil) requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Civil, while Manager (Engg-Elect) requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical. Manager (Finance) requires MBA (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) or CA/CMA/CFA. Manager (Information Technology) requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology (CS/IT/Electronics) or MCA. Manager (Architecture) requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and registration with the Council of Architecture.

For legal and operations-related roles, Manager (Law) requires a Professional Degree in Law, eligible to enroll as an Advocate, and Manager (Operations) requires either a Graduate in Science plus MBA (2 years) or a Bachelor’s in Engineering. Manager (Commercial) requires either a Graduate plus MBA (Marketing) or a Bachelor’s in Engineering. Manager (Corporate Planning & Management Services) requires a PG in Statistics/Operation Research/Economics with Statistics, and Manager (Corporate Communications) requires a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication/Journalism along with a PG degree or diploma.

For the fire services discipline, Manager (Fire Services) requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Tech in Fire/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering. For Junior Executive posts, Junior Executive (Finance) requires MBA (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) or CA/CMA/CFA, Junior Executive (Law) requires a Professional Degree in Law, and Junior Executive (Operations) requires either a Graduate in Science plus MBA (2 years) or a Bachelor’s in Engineering. Junior Executive (Survey & Cartography) requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering/Technology or a Master’s in Geography/Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-informatics/Geomatics.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 2026-09-07. The maximum age for Manager posts is 32 years, and the maximum age for Junior Executive posts is 27 years, depending on the post applied for.

Age relaxation is applicable in the upper age limit for certain categories. SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get a relaxation of 3 years. PwBD candidates with permanent disability (for identified posts) get a relaxation of 10 years. Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers get a relaxation of 5 years. AAI employees in regular service (post-probation) get a relaxation of 10 years.

Application Fee

An application fee of 1000 (inclusive of GST) is payable online. SC, ST, PwBD, Women candidates, and Apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI are exempted from paying the fee.

2. Find and open the registration link mentioned for Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT.
3. Read the detailed official notification carefully before starting the application to confirm eligibility, educational qualification, work experience requirements, and age limit.
4. Complete the new registration by selecting Click here for New Registration and entering your name, contact details, and email ID. After registration, a Provisional Registration Number and password will be generated and sent to you via email and SMS.
5. Log in using the credentials and fill the application form with personal details, academic qualifications, and the preferred post. Use the SAVE AND NEXT option to verify details before final submission.
6. Upload the required documents as per the prescribed specifications, including a recent passport-size photograph, live photo capture, signature, left thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
7. Pay the application fee online (if applicable) using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets. Ensure you obtain the e-Receipt after successful payment.
8. Submit the application form and take a printout of the application form and the fee receipt for future reference.

Salary & Pay Scale

In addition to Basic Pay, the notification states that Dearness Allowance, Perks at 35% of Basic Pay, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, and Medical Benefits are admissible as per AAI rules.

Selection Process

Selection for the Manager and Junior Executive posts will involve multiple stages. First, candidates will appear for a Computer Based Test (objective type) with no negative marking. After the CBT, there will be application verification and/or subsequent tests. An interview will be conducted for Post Codes 1 to 11 only. For the Manager (Fire Services) post, candidates must additionally clear a Physical Measurement Test, a Driving Test, and a Physical Endurance Test before the interview stage. The process also includes document verification.
