AAI FIU Co-Pilot Recruitment 2026

Airports Authority of India (AAI), through its Flight Inspection Unit (FIU) at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi, has invited applications for one Co-Pilot (P2) position for Beechcraft B350/B360 aircraft. The contract opportunity is for Indian nationals who meet the academic, licence, medical and flying-hour requirements.

The FIU plans to engage one Co-Pilot for an initial three-year contract, with a possible extension of up to two more years subject to satisfactory performance and mutual consent. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised board or university. They must also hold a current, valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued by DGCA, India, and have at least 500 flying hours on multi-engine aircraft. A minimum of 1,000 total flying hours is required.

Candidates must additionally possess a current DGCA-issued FRTOL, a current Instrument Rating (IR) endorsement, a current RTR (A), RTR (P) or RTR (C) issued by the Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing (WPC), Ministry of Communication, and a current DGCA Class-1 Medical Fitness Certificate. A valid ELP is also required. Applicants must have a current Indian passport; if they do not yet have one, they must attach proof that they have submitted a passport application.

The recruitment is open to Indian nationals. The stated base station is Delhi.

Age Limit

The maximum age for engagement is 60 years, calculated as of 29 September 2026. Re-engagement may be possible up to age 65, subject to a current licence and fulfilment of other requirements under DGCA rules and regulations. No separate category-based age relaxation is specified.

Salary & Pay Scale
